The Assistant Secretary of the Navy (M&RA) via the Surgeon General's Health and Wellness Integrated Planning Team (IPT) tasked the Leaders Guide for Managing Marines in Distress. Captain Bruce Bohnker and Captain Ben Mitchell served as the Fitness and Wellness IPT Leaders. The Leaders Guide was developed based on the highly regarded Air Force Leader's Guide for Managing Personnel in Distress. The following were the key developers and contributors to this project.
