  • 207,194 family members.

One in every three Marines is a racial/ethnic minority.

  • Hispanic - 11.9 percent of the Marine Corps
  • African American - 10.3 percent of the Marine Corps
  • American Indian, Alaskan Native, Asian, Pacific Islander, Multi-Racial, Other, or Unknown - 7.3 percent of the Marine Corps
