Marine Corps Community Services Deployment Support works hard to impact quality of life in deployed environments.
MCCS has developed standardized templates for the recreation mount-out kits that are provided in support of the various commands being deployed. These kits have been assembled to accommodate varying sizes of units from the company to the MEF level. These templates exist to give installations a checklist of equipment that will adequately support the size of the unit being planned for. Equipment issue and actual kit assembly is at the discretion of individual installation. Kits include various recreation items depending on the unit size and length of deployment. Kits may include board games, team sports kits (softball bats, balls, gloves, bases et.), and fitness equipment.
