VOLUNTARY EDUCATION AND LIBRARIES

The Marine Corps Lifelong Learning Program provides personal and professional learning opportunities for Marines regardless of duty station. With Marines and their families located all over the world, online information is key to keeping our community informed anytime, anywhere.

VOLUNTARY EDUCATION

The U.S. Marine Corps Voluntary Education Program provides active-duty service members the opportunity to reach their educational goals.  Service members can enroll in post-secondary education programs that lead to associate’s, bachelor’s, and graduate degrees. They can complete their high school education or earn their equivalency diploma (GED), improve basic academic skills, and enroll in vocational and technical schools.  Active duty can also potentially receive college credit for military experience based on the American Council on Education (ACE) evaluation of military training.

LIBRARY SERVICES

Marine Corps Libraries assemble, organize, preserve and make easily and freely available to all service personnel, balanced and unbiased collections of library materials (print and non-print).  The advantages of using the library do not stop at books.  The Libraries offer a vast array of services to include children and teen reading programs, internet and email services, best sellers, tax forms, and many more.
