Camp Lejeune's Camp Special Time 

Camp Special Time was created to provide respite care for special needs families and incorporates fun-filled, interactive activities for the children, while being supervised by trained professionals. Camp Special Time is operated through a partnership effort by Camp Lejeune's Marine Corps Family Team Building; Children, Youth and Teen Programs; and, community organizations that include: UNCW School of Nursing, UNCW Recreation Therapy, New Hanover Regional Medical Center, and Cape Fear Community College's Occupational Therapy Program to name a few. Camp Special Time is available to all special needs children of active duty, retirees, and civilian employees.
