Air Force Men and Women capture the gold!!
Steven Dinote

Immediately after the Navy/Marine Corps matchup, clouds rolled in over the
fields and heavy rains stopped play. After a three hour delay, it was
determined that the Air Force and Army Women game was cancelled. After
extensive work on the field over the course of two hours, the grounds crew
was able to prepare the field for an 1800 championship game between the Air
Force and Army Men.

The Army held the lead all game until the 7th inning when the Air Force
rallied back to tie the game. Army was able to score three runs in the 8th
and in the bottom of the 8th inning, Army had the Air Force on the brink of
defeat. However, Air Force put runners on base and a homerun tied the game
at 19. Air Force followed up with a game winning homerun to seal the
"three-peat", and brought home the gold for their third championship in a
row. Air Force 20, Army 19.

The U.S. Armed Forces Team selected from this year's competition will train
