Marines Win in Coors Light Race to the Keys Contest

MCB QUANTICO, VA - Two Marine Corps Community Service (MCCS) Club patrons have won trips to the NASCAR Ford 400 in Miami, FL, in the Coors Light "Race to the Keys" promotion.

MSgt Eddie J. Webber from MCB Camp Pendleton, who entered the contest at the South Mesa SNCO Club, and SSgt James F. Baker from Marine Barracks Washington, who entered at the SNCO Club, won trips to the Florida Keys Nov. 17  21.  The prize package includes airfare for two, hotel accommodations, a meet and greet with NASCAR driver Sterling Marlin, tickets to the Ford 400 race, and $500 spending money.

Marine Corps Community Services partnered with the Coors Brewing Company to secure two of the 10 prizes in the national "Race to the Keys" Promotion. Eligible patrons, over the age of 21, were able to complete contest entry forms at MCCS clubs and Marine Corps Exchange package stores. The drawing was conducted at HQMC, Personnel and Family Readiness Division, aboard MCB Quantico, VA in early October.

This was one of the many great opportunities MCCS provides to it patrons. Right now, MCCS Clubs are conducting the Football Bash in an effort to get Marines into MCCS facilities for a little fun, camaraderie, and football. From Oct. 14 to Dec. 8, 2005, any time you patronize an MCCS Club or restaurant, you will be eligible to enter a raffle for a chance to win the Grand Prize  a five day/four night, all expense paid trip for two to Detroit, MI, to attend Super Bowl XL, valued at over $7,000. The Grand Prize winner will also receive $500 spending money. The Second Place Prize will be $1,000 and merchandise, and the Third Place Prize will be $500 and merchandise.
