Rolex 24 at Daytona, Jan. 27-28, 2006

The 2007 Rolex 24 At Daytona, is a race featuring superstars from the worlds of sports car racing, NASCAR and open-wheel. This races' intensity billows throughout the infield of this 3.56-mile road course. It is a perfect battle between machine, driver and time. This race kicks off the 3 weeks of race action for Speedweeks at Daytona, with great racing, carnivals, car show and more.  Tickets are $10 for a two-day infield/unreserved grandstand pass and includes free admission for children 12-and-under accompanied by a paid adult.

Budweiser Shootout, Feb. 10, 2006

The Budweiser Shootout is an annual NASCAR Nextel Cup Series exhibition event. It is made up of two segments: a short 20-lap segment, followed by a ten-minute intermission. After the intermission, the race concludes with a 50-lap segment in which each car must make a green flag pit stop. The race carries no points for the winner but rather a large purse, circumstances which are supposed to encourage an all-out driving style not seen in regular-season races, where one serious mistake can largely ruin a season. However, due to the smaller fields, huge accidents normally seen in the Daytona 500 are uncommon. The smaller field consists of all of the pole winners from the previous season as well as former event winners. The starting lineup is determined by a random draw, not by qualifying as all other races are determined.

Tickets are $30 for an unreserved grandstand seat on the front stretch and includes free admission for children 12-and-under accompanied by a paid adult.

Daytona 300, Feb. 17 and the Daytona 500, Feb 18,  2006

The NASCAR Busch Series kicks off its 26th season with the Daytona 300. This race will pit NASCAR NEXTEL Cup drivers against the stars of the NASCAR Busch Series.  The Daytona 500 is NASCAR's most important and prestigious race, and has the largest purse, although it is equivalent to other races on the calendar for championship purposes. It is also the circuit's first race of the year; this phenomenon is virtually unique in sports, which tend to have championships or other major events at the end of the season rather than the start.  Tickets for the Super Stretch (Rows 1-20) are $115 and Super Stretch Tower (Rows 33-51) are $180.
