Command Of the Grill Cookbooks Available at Your Local MCX

HQMC (MR), QUANTICO, VA -Command of the Grill - A Salute to Steak, features grilled steak recipes by active duty and reserve Marines.  In 2005, Marines from across the United States competed for a chance to have their recipes featured in Weber's Command of the Grill - A Salute to Steak.  The book includes Col Stewart Navarre's "Combat Steaks", Sgt Michael Clayton's "Sensational Southern Steaks", and Capt Eric Dominijanni's "Disco's Hot and Tangy New York Strip Steaks" as well as 36 other recipes from the finalist and runners up in the local Command of the Grill competitions.  Also included in the cookbook are recipes from former Marines including Lee Trevino, Art Donovan, Ed McMahon, and Tom Seaver.  If this isn't enough the cookbook also features grilling advice, grilling guides for steaks and vegetables, and other tips from Weber.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the cookbook go to charities that directly support Marines wounded or killed in the line of duty and their families.  Thus far Weber has donated over $484,000 to the Fisher House Foundation, the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, the Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation, and the Wounded Warrior Project.
