Marine Corps Clubs, Continuing The Tradition ... Without The Dues

HQMC (MR), QUANTICO, VA - Effective Jan. 1, 2008, membership dues for Marine Corps officer and SNCO clubs will be eliminated. All active duty, reservists, and retired Marines and Civilian Marines will automatically become a member of their respective club without having to pay dues as a requirement of membership.

  Marine Corps clubs are an integral part of the history, culture, tradition, and very fabric of our Corps.  For more than 230 years, Marines have frequently gathered for camaraderie and fellowship at clubs around the world. Marine Corps clubs will remain a fundamental part of the Marine Corps infrastructure and a distinctive location for the gathering of Marines to share in their culture, history, tradition, and heritage.

  Letters announcing the dues free membership are being sent to every current club member. Current members with the Marine Corps Club Membership Card issued by Chase Bank USA, N.A. may retain their MasterCard after dues are eliminated.  This competitive card will continue to offer Platinum MasterCard benefits along with the valuable Military Free Cash Rewards and Blue Star programs.  Members having the Private Label membership card may continue to use their cards in clubs until Jun. 30, 2008.  All Prepaid Membership Cards expire on Dec. 31, 2007 and will not need to be renewed.
