Lodging Guest Eligibility
Reservations are accepted for all eligible personnel on an as-received basis for the priority category. Reservations and room assignments are made without regard to rank or grade, or time of reservation. Personnel on Temporary Additional Orders may make reservations only if rooms are not available at the transient billeting facility. Advance reservations are made according to the priority below:
Priority 1 – The following personnel are considered Priority One for occupancy of Inns of the Corps and may make advance reservations at any time:
- Armed Forces active duty members on PCS or TAD orders and their family members, or family members alone when traveling in a PCS status.
- Armed Forces active duty members on PCS or TAD orders and their family members, or family members alone when traveling in a PCS status.
- Armed Forces active duty members who are single and non-primary custodial parents, during custodial or other visitation periods with minor dependent children
- Reserve Component members on active duty or on active duty for training and during periods of scheduled inactive duty training at an installation.
- U.S. DoD and Coast Guard civilians (both APF and NAF) on TAD orders.
- U.S. DoD and Coast Guard civilians (both APF and NAF) on PCS orders and their family members or family members alone outside the Continental United States.
- DoD sponsored foreign nationals on TAD orders.
- Armed Forces family members on medical TAD orders.
- Families, relatives, guests of hospitalized Armed Forces members of their family members
- Armed Forces active and retired members and their family members undergoing outpatient treatment at a medical facility who must stay overnight in lodging.
- Honorable discharged veterans with 100% Service connected disability and the involuntary separated members under the Transition Assistance Management Program.
- Medal of Honor Recipients
- Guests of the Armed Forces as determined by the installation commander.
Priority 2 - The following personal are considered Priority Two Leisure Travelers (space available) for occupancy of Inns of the Corps and can make reservations up to 30 days in advance:
- Armed Forces active duty and Reserve Component members in a non-duty status and/or their family members.
- Armed Forces retirees, retired Reserve Component members with pay and retired without pay (gray area), and their family members.
- Relatives and guests of Armed Forces members assigned to the installation.
- U.S. DoD civilians (APF and NAF) in on PCS orders and their family members in the Continental United States.
- U.S. DoD civilians (APF and NAF) in a non-duty status and their accompanying family members.
- Un-remarried surviving spouses of personnel who died while on active duty or while in retired status and un-remarried former spouses who were married to military members for at least 20 years while the military member was on active duty to the Armed Forces.
- Nonmilitary uniformed personnel of the U.S. Public Health Service and National Oceanic and Atmospheric.
- Administration, and foreign military personnel in a active duty status, when authorized by the installation commander.
Note: Priority 1 customers will not "bump" Priority 2 customers with confirmed reservations, nor will they bump them once they are assigned a room for a specific period of time, except in times of contingency, emergency, or when the installation commander determines higher priorities exist.
