Rooms

Our rooms are smoke free. Smoking is permitted in the patio areas. Guests are responsible for properly extinguishing and disposing of cigarettes. Please note that we will assess a $250 cleaning fee for smoking in the room.

House keeping service is performed between 9AM and 3PM. Towel left on bathroom floor will be replaced. 

We ask guests to clean up dishes in rooms with kitchenettes. A $50 cleaning fee may apply for unwashed dishes.

Missing or damaged keys may be replaced for a $1 per key.

Guests are responsible for lost or damaged items, and will be charged for repair or replacement.

Pets Welcome

Pets are allowed. Limit 2 pets. Max pet weight is 75lbs. Pet must have a kennel. A $25 non-refundable fee and $10 per pet per night will apply.

You may cancel your reservation 24 hours prior to your reservation date. Please note that we will assess a fee for the first night if you must cancel after this deadline. If you have made a prepayment, we will retain all or part of your prepayment. If not, we will charge your credit card.

Everything from carpet and tile, to cabinetry and kitchen appliances, to lighting, curtains and bedding has been recently updated to the Inns of the Corps Brand Standards.

The 29 Palms Inns of the Corps features a large playground catering to a family atmosphere, including a picnic area with barbecue grills and plenty of space for families to spread out and enjoy themselves. The Inn also provides a laundromat, vending area and lobby seating with room to read or watch TV. The Inn is equipped with six pet-friendly rooms available for those traveling with dogs.  A designated pet area is near the pet rooms.

The Inn is conveniently located within walking distance to resources on base such as the Commissary, MCX Marine Mart, MCX Home Store, Child Development Centers, Youth Center, Family Pool, Carl’s Jr., DiCarlos Italian Café and Five Guys Burgers. The Inn's lobby hours are from 12pm - 6pm, Monday-Sunday, and a 24 hour guest services located at building 1088. A healthy hot breakfast is served every morning in a dining room overlooking the courtyard. The breakfast hours are 6am -  9am, Monday-Friday; and 7am - 10am, Saturday and Sunday. Twilight Dunes RV Park came into existence in May 1999 when MCAGCC Housing transferred half of the spaces used for Mobile Living to MCCS for recreational use.

The park has 83 spaces available to eligible patrons. Carports and barns are also available. Each site includes hook ups for electricity, water, server, telephone and cable TV.* Mail services are available. Pets are welcome inside the park and must be in compliance with Marine Corps Order P11000.22. Convenient resources are nearby such as a barber, laundromat and market items at the MCX Marine Mart.

The park offers daily and 30-day rates. Extensions are granted by priority of the RV Park SOP. Any occupants not stationed at MCAGCC on military orders relocate to new spaces annually.

30-Day Rate: $15.00 a day

Pets are allowed in the RV Park. It is the owner's responsibility to ensure that the pet is under control at all times and that all health and safety rules are followed. Owners are encouraged to walk their pets in the open area adjacent to the park. Please clean up after your pets as soon as possible.

Each of the thirteen 2-bedroom, one-bath units is tastefully decorated and furnished with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Located past the flightline, the Beach Cottages are situated along the scenic coastline of Kaneohe Bay, with the pristine Pyramid Rock beach nearby. Relax on your deck or snorkel in the clear blue waters.

Please note: Specific beach cottage requests are not guaranteed. While all cottages have amazing views over Kaneohe Bay, not all have immediate water access.

Seabee Cottage reservations are made through Combat Battalion Pacific. Contact 808-472-1631 to reserve. Check-in is located at the Inns of the Corps/Main Lodge front desk by the main gate.

The Distinguished Visitor (DV/SNCO) Cottages (E-8/9 and O-6 and above) are reserved and managed by the MCBH Protocol Officer. Contact 808-257-8863 to reserve.

All personnel and visitors aboard MCB Hawaii are required to obey the following airfield/runway movement instructions while operating a vehicle or on foot and use only the Mokapu Road crossing and obey all posted signs, road gates, and instructions from airfield personnel. Pedestrians and joggers are prohibited from crossing the runway. Failure to comply may result in loss of base access.

Amenities include a full kitchen, charcoal grills (charcoal not provided), dinnerware, cooking utensils, cable TV, iron, AC, WiFi. Each room has one queen-sized bed in it. The sofa does NOT pull out. Housekeeping offered daily. No tents allowed.

Inns of the Corps is one of the greatest assets to the Base! The facility has 74 standard rooms, 4 king rooms, 42 efficiencies and 24 suites, as well as meeting space to accommodate up to 25 people. The hotel requires a valid credit or debit card at check-in.
We also have a limited number of pet friendly rooms at the Inns of the Corps.

Inns of the Corps is located on the main side of Quantico Marine Corps Base, next to the beautiful, new state-of-the-art club, The Clubs At Quantico. The base is located about one hour from downtown Washington, DC. The base and the nearby town of Quantico, VA are situated adjacent to the scenic Potomac River. Historic Fredericksburg is just 25 minutes south on interstate 95.

Barbers Point Beach Cottages

Nourish your mind, body and spirit with a relaxing stay at our MWR Barbers Point Beach Cottages, located on the west coast of Oahu.  Two and three bedroom cottages offer many amenities, including fully furnished kitchens, cable television, linens, ceiling fans and a private bath.

RESERVATIONS

Reservations are accepted daily at the ITT & Beach Cottage reservations office located at Barbers Point White Plains Beach (Bldg. 1797), open daily from 9am – 6pm, Holidays, 9am-3pm. To confirm a reservation a deposit of 50% will be assessed. A 50% deposit (credit card, cash or sponsored check) must be received with reservation. This 50% deposit will be applied to the total amount due.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation more than 45 days prior to the date of the reservation will result in a full refund. Cancellations within 45 days of reservation will result in forfeiture of your 50% deposit. NO REFUND will be issued if cancellation/modification (full or partial) is within 45 days of reservation date. The MWR Director will review special circumstances for possible exceptions to this policy.

CHECK IN/OUT

Check-in will be at the ITT/Beach Cottage Office in building 1797, White Plains Road located at the Barbers Point White Plains Beach. The sponsor must present their military id at check-in.

Check-in time: Daily 2:30 pm – 6pm. & Holidays 2pm – 4pm. We cannot accommodate any check-ins after these hours.

Check out time is 10:30 a.m. at all cottages. Upon your departure we ask your cooperation in leaving the cottages as clean as possible by washing and storing all dishes, sweeping floors, removing all linens and placing them on the beds, wet towels are to be placed on bathroom floor. Empty all trash and place in the outside receptacles provided.

Warning! Cottage keys will deprogram on day of check – out. We will not be held responsible for any cause or possible damage to personnel items. Should it be necessary the following charges will be applied to your bill:

  • $5 for cottage key replacement
  • $25 for gate key replacement
  • $15 per half hour for cottages left in unsatisfactory condition, or late check-out. Replacement cost for any items damaged due to abuse or lost.
  • $100 fine per day for pets.

PAYMENT

Accepted forms of payment are Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Any reservations made less than 45 days in advance will be charged 50% of total amount, of which is non-refundable.

Guest will be informed the card is being charged AT THIS TIME. Payment is due in full for all reservations, upon check-in at the ITT Office. All of our cottages are funded on a self-sufficiency basis and every effort must be made to keep expenses at acceptable levels. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated in keeping the facilities in a clean and safe condition to ensure a pleasant stay for you and your family, as well as for others that will follow. Please help us by adhering
to the following policies:

The MWR cottages are intended for family use and are not authorized for use as a party facility.
Parking is limited at the cottages. Limit 2 vehicle permits per cottage. All other guests must use visitor parking. Visitors' parking is located adjacent to the cottages.
Cottage use is intended for sponsors and their family guests only. "Subletting" to other persons is not authorized. Persons not listed on your guest list are required to vacate the cottage by 10:00 pm Monday – Thursday and by 12:00 am Friday – Sunday and Holidays. Out of respect to neighbors, we ask that loud noise and boisterous activities be discontinued by 10:00pm nightly

ELIGIBILITY/POLICY

WHO CAN RENT

The cottages are available for daily rental by authorized patrons. Authorized patrons include:

  • Active duty military to include foreign services and Coast Guard.
  • Retired military
  • Members of Reserve components
  • Other military separated from the Armed Forces and their family members to include EX-POW, Medal of Honor recipients, honorably discharged veterans with 100% service connected disability, involuntarily separated service members under the Transition Assistance Management Program, voluntary separation under the Voluntary Separation Incentive (VSI) and Special Separation Benefit (SSB) Programs for two years after separation.
  • Family members to include spouse and children (21 yrs. or older) of those eligible patrons in categories (a) through (d)
  • Department of Defense (DOD) Civilians and MWR/NEX/AAFES NAF employees, active or retired.
  • Accompanied guests of all authorized patrons.

RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS

Reservations are made by contacting the ITT Office at (808) 682-3085. The reservation requirements and categories for eligible patrons are as follows:

Category 1: Includes Active Duty Navy and their family members residing in Hawaii. Reservations may be made up to six (6) months in advance.
Category 2: Includes Active Duty Navy (outside of Hawaii), Marine, and Coast Guard personnel and their family members. Reservations may be made up to five (5) months in advance.
Category 3: Includes active duty members of other services, reservists, retirees, EX-POW, and Medal of Honor recipients and their family members. Reservations may be made up to four (4) months in advance.
Category 4: Includes Navy DOD civilian, MWR/NEX NAF employee, active or retired. Reservations may be made up to three (3) months in advance.
Category 5: Includes other service DOD civilians, AAFES employees, active or retired. Reservations may be made up to two (2) months in advance.

The Beach Cottage Rental Program includes 24 cottages located at White Plains Beach, Nimitz Beach and Nimitz Cove, on the island of Oahu.

White Plains Duplex:

THE COTTAGES MAY NOT BE USED AS A PARTY FACILITY.

Should a National Disaster be declared during you stay each one of our cottages has been furnished with an emergency kit. If the kit is tampered with, without a National Evacuation, the customer will incur a penalty fee of $200.00 upon checkout.

CONFIRM A RESERVATION

To confirm a reservation, a credit card deposit of 50% will be assessed. If confirming reservation by check or cash, it must be received in our office at the time of booking. This 50% deposit will be applied to the total amount due. Cancellation more than 45 days prior to the reservation will result in 100% refund to the guest. NO REFUNDS will be issued if cancellation/modification is within 45 days of reservation. The MWR Director will review special circumstances for possible exceptions to this policy.

Customers will be charged a $50 service fee for after hour assistance to unlock your cottage.

Daily rates are established and reviewed on an annual basis. Special rate promotions and requests will be reviewed by the MWR Director for approval.

LENGTH OF STAY

The minimum stay is two 2 days and maximum stay is two weeks, but may be extended based on availability upon check-in. There is a maximum of six (6) people per 2-bedroom unit.

PETS

Pets are prohibited inside, outside and within the vicinity of the beach cottages. A $200 fine per day will be assessed if pets are found.

PEST CONTROL

We are aggressive on pest control and every attempt has been made to eliminate ants, mosquitoes, and termites, however you may be exposed to insects during your stay. Summer months can be particularly bad and it is not uncommon for termites to swarm. We hope that you will understand these circumstances, which unfortunately, cannot be avoided.

Our Beach Cottages are the perfect getaway for the whole family and out-of-town guests. Each of the thirteen 2-bedroom, one-bath units is tastefully decorated and furnished with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The full kitchen has modern appliances, and the living and dining areas are perfect for relaxing and spending quality time with loved ones. Each unit also comes equipped with air conditioning, a private lanai, and a BBQ grill, making it easy to enjoy outdoor meals in the warm Hawaiian weather.

Our daily housekeeping service ensures that the cottages are kept clean and tidy throughout your stay, allowing you to relax and enjoy your time in Kaneohe Bay fully.

As much as we love our animal friends, no pets are allowed at the beach cottages. We want all of our guests to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

There is a seven night maximum stay and no checking in or out over the weekend and holidays. For weekend stays, please note, check in/out is not allowed on Saturday, Sunday or holidays; therefore there is a 3-day minimum stay over the weekend and a 4-day minimum if it is a holiday weekend.

Located past the flightline, the Beach Cottages are situated along the scenic coastline of Kaneohe Bay, with the pristine Pyramid Rock beach nearby. Relax on your deck or snorkel in the clear blue waters.

Please note: Specific beach cottage requests are not guaranteed. While all cottages have amazing views over Kaneohe Bay, not all have immediate water access.

Seabee Cottage reservations are made through Combat Battalion Pacific. Contact 808-472-1631 to reserve. Check-in is located at the Inns of the Corps/Main Lodge front desk by the main gate.

The Distinguished Visitor (DV/SNCO) Cottages (E-8/9 and O-6 and above) are reserved and managed by the MCBH Protocol Officer. Contact 808-257-8863 to reserve.

All personnel and visitors aboard MCB Hawaii are required to obey the following airfield/runway movement instructions while operating a vehicle or on foot and use only the Mokapu Road crossing and obey all posted signs, road gates, and instructions from airfield personnel. Pedestrians and joggers are prohibited from crossing the runway. Failure to comply may result in loss of base access.

Amenities include a full kitchen, charcoal grills (charcoal not provided), dinnerware, cooking utensils, cable TV, iron, AC, WiFi. Each room has one queen-sized bed in it. The sofa does NOT pull out. Housekeeping offered daily. No tents allowed.

Q&A:

How many people can stay in the cottages?
A maximum of six (6) people in the standard and deluxe cottages, and eight (8) people in the VIP cottage.

How do I confirm my reservations?
To confirm a reservation, a credit card deposit of 50% is required. If submitting a reservation by check or cash, it must be received at the time the reservation is placed. The 50% deposit will be applied to the total amount due. Accepted forms of payment are cash, personal check, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Any reservation made less than 45 days in advance will be charged 50% of the total amount of which is non-refundable. The guest will be informed the card is being charged AT THIS TIME. Payment is due in full for all reservations, upon check-in at the Central Cottage Reservations Office. Cancellation more than 45 days prior to the reservation will result in a full refund. NO REFUND will be issued if cancellation is within 45 days of the reservation date. Any refunds that may be issued will be credited to the credit card or in the form of a check mailed by the MWR Accounting Office.

How far is the base from the airport?
The base is 36 miles west of Lihue airport. Driving time is approximately 45 minutes. From the airport, head west on HWY 50 and turn left at the 30 mile marker.

Who is authorized to stay at the Beach Cottage?
All military personnel and their family members, retired or active duty, DoD civilians, MWR, NEX or NAF employees and contractors working on board the installation who have been authorized use of MWR programs by the Commanding Officer. Please bring your military ID to access the base.

How far in advance can I book a cottage?
The timeframe allowed to book your reservations depends on your military status and category in which you qualify. You can find more details in the policy listed on the greatlifehawaii web site.

What do we do if we check-in after hours?
Cottage packets will be available at the Housing gate after hours. Inform the guard that you are checking in and they will give you your packet. Please be sure to have your military ID. On Sundays and federal holidays, the packets will be available at the guard gate at 2pm for check-ins.

Is there a commissary on base?
We do not have a commissary, however, for those who are eligible to purchase goods, there is a small NEX store where you can purchase staples. Anything not available there can usually be purchased at the local grocery store in nearby Waimea town, about a ten-minute drive from the base.

Are all the cottages beachfront?
12 Beach Cottages are oceanfront and twelve are ocean view.

What is provided for us in the cottages?
All cottages are fully furnished with refrigerator, stove, washer, dryer, microwave, coffee maker, TV, DVD/VCR, basic cable, telephone, internet access, dishes, flatware, cooking utensils, cookware and BBQ grill. Linen and towels are also provided. Bedrooms are air-conditioned.

What do we need to bring with us?
Personal toiletries, laundry detergent and charcoal are not provided. Beach chairs and other gear are available for rent through our Gear Issue at the Outdoor Adventure Center.

The 29 Palms Inns of the Corps, a 13-time award winner for Excellence in Food and Hospitality, is a 35-room facility that provides clean, crisp and comfortable lodging for active duty and retired military, DoD civilians and those on PCS and TAD orders. Everything from carpet and tile, to cabinetry and kitchen appliances, to lighting, curtains and bedding has been recently updated to the Inns of the Corps Brand Standards.

The 29 Palms Inns of the Corps features a large playground catering to a family atmosphere, including a picnic area with barbecue grills and plenty of space for families to spread out and enjoy themselves. The Inn also provides a laundromat, vending area and lobby seating with room to read or watch TV. The Inn is equipped with six pet-friendly rooms available for those traveling with dogs.  A designated pet area is near the pet rooms.

The Inn is conveniently located within walking distance to resources on base such as the Commissary, MCX Marine Mart, MCX Home Store, Child Development Centers, Youth Center, Family Pool, Carl’s Jr., DiCarlos Italian Café and Five Guys Burgers. The Inn's lobby hours are from 12pm - 6pm, Monday-Sunday, and a 24 hour guest services located at building 1088. A healthy hot breakfast is served every morning in a dining room overlooking the courtyard. The breakfast hours are 6am -  9am, Monday-Friday; and 7am - 10am, Saturday and Sunday.
