Your Next Adventure Starts with SMP

Looking to meet other Marines, build leadership skills, improve quality of life, and participate in fun activities? The Single Marine Program (SMP) connects single Marines and geographic bachelors with opportunities to lead, volunteer, and build camaraderie at their installation.

Develop Leadership Skills

Take an active role in your installation community by serving on the SMP Council. Council members advocate for fellow Marines, identify solutions to quality-of-life concerns, and work alongside SMP staff and senior enlisted leaders to strengthen leadership and communication skills.

Improve Quality of Life

Make your voice heard on issues that matter. SMP provides Marines with a direct channel to share ideas, address quality-of-life concerns, and help develop programs and solutions that support morale, well-being, and mission readiness.

Volunteer and Give Back

Make a positive impact in your local community through volunteer opportunities organized by SMP. Marines support causes such as animal shelters, Toys for Tots, community cleanups, youth mentoring programs, and veteran outreach while developing valuable personal and professional skills.

Explore Recreation and Social Activities

Build friendships and strengthen camaraderie through a variety of SMP events and recreation programs, including outdoor adventures, sporting events, competitions, skill-building workshops, barracks events, and installation activities. New opportunities are added regularly, so visit your local Recreation Center—the home of the Single Marine Program—for the latest events and activities.
